The Backwood Lizard is a full 6″ of curl-tail action — clawing legs and a ribbon-style tail that thrashes and pushes water on every hop. Bass hate lizards near the bed, which makes this a spring and bed-fishing weapon, but it earns its keep year-round.

Drag it on a Carolina rig across points and flats, flip it Texas-rigged into cover, or swim it slow. The big profile calls fish in and the tail seals the deal.
